FOUR HORSES OF THE APOCALYPSE: Islam

And I saw, and behold, a white horse, and its rider had a bow; and a crown was given to him, and he went out conquering and to conquer (Revelation 6:2).

The West won the world not by the superiority of its ideas or values or religion but rather by its superiority in applying organized violence.  Westerners often forget this fact; nonWesterners never do (Samuel P. Huntington, director of national security during the Carter administration).

It is no less true for nations than it is for individual people; the largest factor in the success of a person is his beliefs.  The dominant beliefs of a nation will determine the success or failure of that nation. I happened on to the Huntington quote as I surfed the web; it was on an Islamic site.  Huntington was wrong, but the Islamists believe him because his words fit their belief system.  Theirs is a culture that pursues world domination through force.  They cannot build a car, but they can build a missile to deliver a nuclear weapon.  The probability that the Middle East is going to be turned into a radioactive wasteland is about to become signigicantly higher!!!

What has followed in the wake of Islam for 1400 years is the rider on the red horse of war, the rider on the black horse of famine, and the rider on the pale horse of death (Revelation 6:3-8).  Islamists, themeselves, wonder why their people and economies are so backward considering that the Islamic world controls 74% of the world's oil reserves and pumps 42% of the worlds oil.  Islamists have 54% of the world's natural gas and pump 30% of it.  They also have large gold and bauxite reserves plus a trillion dollars in gold bullion.  Islamists control strategic locations, the most important being the Straits of Hormuze and the Suez Canal.  A unite Muslim world could field a 4.7 million-man army.  All these statistics were found on another Islamic site.

With all this wealth and power why is it that the Islamic world is backward?  For the same reason the West is near collapse; a person, nation or a culture is what it believes.  The West has cut itself off from the faith of its fathers.

As the time of the return of the King of Kings draws near, the four horses of the apocalyps are a sign of the times.

Grace&Peace;
Tom

If muslims are not violent, why are they responsible for almost all of the acts of terrorism? Why do muslims terrorize Christians in states that are predominately muslim?

My statement about not being able to build a car was a bit hyperbolic, but it is true to this degree, they spend so much time, creativity and resources making weapons of destruction aimed at subjugating the world to islam that they deprive their own people of the resources they need for a better life. The citizens of islamic countries are smart people, but their beliefs hold them back. It will always be this way until Christ returns, and it will be soon because the four horses of the apocalypse are a sign of the times.

Tom, Muslims also believe that Jesus peace be upon him will return.

I'm not sure what you mean, Anon, but when Jesus returns, "The heavens will disappear with a roar; the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and everything in it will be laid bare. Since everything will be destroyed in this way, what kind of people ought you to be? You ought to live holy and Godly lives" (2 Peter 3:10-11).

Catholic priests molested children...so that must mean that all Christians molest children.

If one person who calls himself a person (of course in this case it isn't just one) why must all the other ones take responsibility? I'm Muslim. I'm half korean, half white. I was born, raised and still living in the U.S. I wear a rebel flag wristband. I listen to hip-hop and modern country music. I'm a follower of Islam. I do NOT condone the killing of innocents at all.

These people that call themselves Muslims that destroy the innocent are either mislead or extremists.

Yes there are violent verses in the Qur'an but they are justified with others. To fully understand everything in the Qur'an, one must read the entire thing. One verse alone has a chance of not being complete unless read with several others throughout the entire word.

I hope this has opened your mind a bit.

Hey Tom, beautiful blog!
You follow Christianity, right? Then I believe you are well aware about the fact that Christianity and Muslim-ism have loads of similarities.
I am Hindu, but I follow all religion, because all the religions are same.
If religion are same, then even all people are same.No one in violent or evil until and unless situations compel them to be.
I really won't specify, but I request you to look back into the history, in Medieval period Arabians were among the richest! Then what made them poor, who looted them, who took their peace?
Most of the people following Islam were betrayed and they are angry. Though most of them have forgiven, but just few handful of people, are still angry, and they basically brainwash small kids by misinterpreting Quran!
Its my earnest request not to blame a particular clan for violence, think from their point of view, you may get many answers.

So much talk on terrorism. Would any body define what terrorism is? Because if someone does then it will be clear that most of the people haunted by terrorism are Muslims.

I agree, Hassan. What happened in Iraq today graphically illustrates the truth of what you said. The logical consequence of the belief that the power of violence is the way to control and prosperity is death and poverty.
